Nancy Henning became a permanent resident of Cudjoe Key in 2005 and was immediately inspired by the tropical beauty and colors of the Keys. She was encouraged in her painting through lessons with Judi Bradford at the Audubon House and with Jim Salem at the Sugarloaf Lodge.  Nancy’s favorite subjects are the spectacular flowers, waters, skies and landscapes all around her in the Florida Keys.  Until her move to Cudjoe Key, Nancy was a resident of Newport and Jamestown Rhode Island (trying to always live on an island).

Nancy is a member of the Southern Keys Artists and participated in their Spring Art Shows in March 2009 and 2010.  She is a member of the Lower Keys Artists Network and had a juried entry in the Sodu Gallery’s “From a Woman’s Hand” art show in  2009, 2010, and 2012.
